How to Fix Directory Problems on a PC

1. Open the 'Start' menu and click on the 'Run' button.
2. Type in 'cmd' and press 'Enter.'
3. Type in 'chkdsk x:' (where 'x'' is the drive letter of your hard drive) and press 'Enter.'
4. Enter in 'chkdsk x: /f' and press 'Enter' if problems are found during the scan in Step 3.
5. Reboot your computer.
