WINDOWS TIPS AND TRICK

1. Restart your computer in safe mode. Press and hold the 'F8' key as your computer restarts. This will take you to the 'Advanced Boot Options' menu. Use your arrow key to highlight 'Safe Mode.' Press the 'Enter' key.
2. Restart your computer in normal mode and perform a clean boot. Click the Start menu and type 'msconfig.exe' in the search box. Press 'Enter' to launch 'System Configuration utility.' Click the 'General' tab and choose the option that says 'Selective startup.' Click to remove the check next to 'Load startup items.' Click the 'Services' tab. Click to place a check next to 'Hide all Microsoft services.' Click 'Disable all.' Click 'OK' and choose 'Restart.'
3. Enable the 'System File Checker' to fix any missing or corrupted system files that may be causing the error message. Click the Start menu and select 'All Programs.' Click 'Accessories.' Right-click 'Command Prompt' and select 'Run as administrator.' Type your admin password if/when prompted. Otherwise, click 'Continue.' Type the following command 'sfc /scannow' (without quotes) and press the 'Enter' key. This will start the scanning process. System File Checker will find the corrupt files on your system and replace them with the correct versions.
4. Close 'Command Prompt' by typing 'Exit' (without the quotes) and pressing the 'Enter' key.
5. Restart your computer to finish the troubleshooting steps.
