Disable WGA Message
1. Double click 'My Computer.'
2. Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\System32.
3. Rename WgaLogon.dll to WgaLogon.old and rename WgaTray.exe to WgaTray.old.
4. Restart your computer.
Uninstalling WGA Validation
5. Open a command shell with a click on 'Start' and then 'Run.' Type 'cmd' and click 'OK'.
6. Type the following command and press 'Enter':
Regsvr32 %Windir%\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll /u
7. Restart your computer.
8. Open a command shell again with a click on 'Start' and then 'Run.' Type 'cmd' and click 'OK'.
9. Type the following three commands, pressing 'Enter' after each command:
Del %Windir%\system32\wgalogon.old
Del %Windir%\system32\WgaTray.old
Del %Windir%\system32\LegitCheckControl.dll
10. Type regedit. The Registry Editor opens.
11. Locate the following subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\ CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\WgaLogon. Right-click it and click 'Delete'.
12. Locate the following subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows \CurrentVersion\Uninstall\WgaNotify. Right-click it and click 'Delete'.
13. Restart your computer.
